Community
Our careers and personal experiences have brought us to the awareness that education and advocacy at the community level creates a more lasting impact. It is with this in mind that we engage in an array of community-based programs.
Workshops: We moderate, participate in and facilitate workshops of all sizes on a variety of mental health topics, both clinical and educational.
Partnerships: We engage in partnerships with educational, non-profit and many other entities to improve awareness, advance knowledge and reduce stigma related to Mental health care and conditions.
Consulting
The Refinery is invested in the contribution to helping other individuals and businesses grow.
Peer consultation: For established clinicians seeking case consultation or support with virtual business development
Supervision: For license seeking therapists in Florida or those wanting to specialize in telehealth services.
Organizational Consultation & Training: For organizations desiring to move into tele counseling, more appropriately address mental health considerations for their staff or provide additional training to its clinical or administrative staff in the area of mental/emotional wellness.
Courses
We feature convenient self-guided content as well as Live Virtual Masterclasses that fall under our “Refine Your Life” umbrella! All developed specifically for the individual target audiences, topics include managing stress, thriving in today’s society as a minority woman, motherhood, marriage and many things in between. There are no cookie-cutter courses at the Refinery! Our most recent course was entitled “Motherhood Refined” and was amazing! — what will the next be? — stay tuned
Counseling
We recognize that the weight of mental and emotional difficulties can be difficult to manage on your own. Whether it is anxiety, anger, depression, stress, distress in your relationships or adjusting to life’s many changes, we are available to support you in your wellness journey. We are Board Certified Licensed Counselors and TeleMental Health specialists servicing Florida, Georgia, Colorado, Minnesota and New Mexico. We exclusively provide telecounseling and pride ourselves in being able to reach many who lack access to quality care or have not identified a local provider that is a cultural fit for their needs.
